This hillside charmer is perched just above Stinson Beach Village and around the corner from the Stinson Beach Market. This cottage features floor to ceiling glass bi-fold doors provide indoor/outdoor living. The cottage has a gas range and has a fully equipped kitchen. There is high-speed-wireless internet, a flat screen HD TV with Direct TV, and a large deck with Gas BBQ. In addition to the double bed, the unit has a pull out couch that sleeps one or two small kids. This couch is not comfortable for adults. It is one of two side-by-side sister cottages that can be rented individually or together at a discount (inquire for rates). The cottages share one continuous deck (divided by a sliding gate) with panoramic ocean views. Gas Grill. Please note that the property is accessed by a fairly long hillside staircase, and the entrance to the cottage next door (#6) is accessed by passing through the front deck of this cottage( #5). Street parking only. No Pets Allowed. Bed Configuration: 1 Full, 1 Sofa Bed

    My husband and I wanted a weekend break by the shore and found this wonderful place at Stinson Beach.
    The kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need and the bifolding glass doors onto the spacious deck made the place unique.
    We popped over to the market in Point Reys to pick up food and provisions.
    There is also a small market in Stinson that is well stocked plus a great bakery by the beach for fresh bread from 7:30 am.

    There are steps to get to the property but are worth it because the views of the sun setting from the elevated height over the Pacific are breathtaking.
    I have already recommended this place to friends in the city!

    My wife and I stayed for four nights to both see the sights in the area and to relax on the beach. This place was the perfect size for us.

    It was well equipped, all of the appliances worked, the wifi signal was good, no problems with water pressure -- it was a comfortable stay.

    The weather was gorgeous so we spent a lot of time on the deck. You overlook other houses, the main street, and then the park/beach. It was nice spot to sit in the morning, have breakfast, and plan the day.

    There is no AC so the inside got very stuffy while we were out for the day (80+ degrees inside, 70 degrees outside) so we got in the habit of opening up the doors and windows while we hung out on the deck before dinner. The row of doors on the deck all open up and cool things down quickly.

    It close enough to the main street to walk to restaurants and the little market. The beach was a bit further but still walk-able.

    If you plan on cooking/eating at the house (which we did for several meals) make sure to stop for your food before you get to the area. The local marker is very expensive. We went to the Safeway in Mill Valley to stock up. There are plenty of pots and pans, utensils, plates, etc.

    Parking was curbside and quite crowded on the weekend. We had no trouble finding a spot but we were usually several houses away.

    All in all, I'd happily stay here again.

    We had a fantastic stay at this cozy little house. The design is bright and clean and the folding glass doors let in wonderful breezes. The kitchen is well-stocked and spacious. Occupants at the neighboring cottage do need to cross the deck for access to #6. It's not an inconvenience but worth noting if you prefer complete privacy. Look forward to returning ASAP.
